Last week we had a Nikon D800 RAW File this week we have a Nikon D3200 File that I captured while in Chicago this past week.
I exported this file as a DNG so you can open it in any program you would like. What will you do with this file, will you crop it, go black and white, go color or go over the top extreme. I think a 1920′s gangster edit could be pretty interesting and make for a fun edit.

This weeks RAW EDIT brings us a RAW File from a Nikon D800. I went ahead and saved it as a DNG so you all can open it in what ever version of Lightroom you may have.
Studio shots are always interesting. They give you the ability to tweak many different things and thats exactly what I would like to see with this weeks RAW EDITS.

This week we have a file from a Sony A550 DSLR. This is one of the first times that we have had a Sony RAW file to work with. The thing about this image is there is something there but its far away. We have an attractive model in a not so bad pose but the image needs to be saved.
How would you edit it, how will you save it, will you go black and white, split tone, leave it color or do some other kind of extreme edit. I think you all may end up cropping this image to make the composition much better and I will be doing that as well. I was pretty surprised to see how well the RAW file held up when cropped to an extreme amount.
Have fun and lets see some crazy edits this week.

This week you will get to see both Adam and my RAW EDIT of the Skee Ball image just like old times. We sit down and discuss the differences between both of our edits.

This weeks RAW file comes from one of the recent photo of the day files. I asked the photographer to send it over as I thought you guys would have a lot of fun editing it. What direction will you take it, will you go HDR which I think has a chance of looking really good or will you go extreme black and white? The great thing here is its totally up to you which direction you should go.

Is this one going to stay color or go black and white? Are you going to have her stepping off the titanic or possible landing on the moon?

I have had my Nikon D4 for about a week now. I honestly have not shot to much but I did go out to the baseball field last week to capture some images. You guys have been asking me to put up a Nikon D4 RAW file so I am doing the next best thing.
Being that most people wouldn’t have a way to open a D4 RAW file I saved it as a DNG that can be opened in older Lightroom and Photoshop applications.
This image was taken with the Nikon D4 with the Nikon 300 2.8 AFS. I think it is time for me to upgrade to a 300 2.8 AFS VRII so if anyone is interested in picking up mine please drop me a line.
