I chose Sokpagna’s set because he’s got a definite point-of-view and style for approaching sports photography. I like Sokpagna’s focus on a lot of what happens behind the scenes, rather than only shooting the decisive moments.
Sokpagna’s photo-journalistic style is brought to live by his shooting wide apertures – isolating his subjects from the background, but giving us enough information so his images pop. I like his thick black and whites and even his color processing looks sharp.
I was quite impressed with Sokpagna’s photo set and am only offering my opinion and insights which at times may seem harsh, but are honest and full of encouragement, so great job Sokpagna and keep up the good work!
