A guide to "Capturing Motion" in low light situations

Photo of the Day - The Dead Sea as seen from Mt. Masada

Last summer I had the opportunity to spend 3 weeks in Israel capturing images of the World Maccabi games. The first week was spent seeing all of the historical sites around Israel.  On this day we spent time at the Dead Sea and Mt Masada.  The story of Masada is amazing and you should read about it.

In this image I am overlooking what is left of the dead sea.  The sea is receding at a very fast pace and it will be gone in the next couple of decades.  The land on the other side of the sea is the country of Jordan.  It is an amazing experience to walk where someone walked 2,000 years ago.

Enjoy this image, I find looking at it is very peaceful.
