Quick Tip / Critique - Freezing motion in photos

This picture captured my eye the other day as I think it is very very close to being an amazing photo. Don’t get me wrong, its already a very cool image but with a few things done differently it could be amazing.

First things first, a faster shutter speed would help freeze any motion in the kid who his about to jump.

Second, if the kid was frozen in the air after he jumped it would add major interest to the image.

In the video I talk about the exposure triangle and the ways that you can get more shutter speed from your camera. Just remember what I like to say, “cause and effect” if you do this, this will happen, if you do that that will happen.
