A guide to "Capturing Motion" in low light situations

DON’T BUY THIS LENS, Unless… | TAMRON 70-300 REVIEW for Sony E

This is a REVIEW of the Tamron 70-300mm f4.5 – 6.3 Zoom Lens for Sony E Mount Cameras. This is the cheapest 70-300 option you will find currently on the Sony system. If you’re shooting outside, this lens will do the job. If you think you will be able to get nice results inside in poor lighting, think again.

This is why I recommend this lens only for people who want something light, that gives them some reach but will only be shooting outside. It’s going to get the job done but if you’re a serious photographer, someone who is looking to turn photography into something, save your money. Save your money and invest it into a Tamron 70-180 2.8. It’s not as long on the zoom range, but if you’re shooting indoor sports it’s going to crush, if you’re shooting portraits, it will crush, if you’re shooting sports where you don’t need a mega zoom, it’s going to crush.
