How many times have you looked at an image with the sky in it and said it looks “FAKE”? I know i’ve made the mistake of over-processing the sky in some of my older images.
Here’s what you need to ask yourself when processing images with a lot of sky. Ask yourself “does this look fake”, “does this look unrealistic”, “did I take it too far”? If you said yes to any of those things, pull back on your processing. Your images will thank you for it.
