This is a REVIEW of the SONY 400mm f4.5 G Master Lens. It’s kind of insane that Sony was able to shrink down a 400 to this size and thread the very fine needle of price vs. quality. Yet, somehow they nailed it. The lens is light, compact, fast-focusing, and sharp. It’s a solid alternative for someone who would never be able to or can’t justify spending an extra $10,000 for the SONY 400 2.8.
