Learn techniques and best practices for capturing motion in low light

I want you to see the light

I want to show you an exercise that you can start to do that will help you create better photographs. This is all about seeing the image before it happens and training yourself to be prepared. It will help you think about the environment you are in in a photographic way even if you don’t have your camera.

Start seeing the world as if you were looking through a lens, decide what lens you would use in that situation, what ISO, SS, F stop and how would you compose it.

Try it out, guess your settings and than take the picture based on those settings, see how close you can get to guessing the light. As you get better at guessing the light you will start to capture better images.

Right where you are guess the lighting, grab your camera and set it to what you think, leave me with a comment on how close you were.

Good luck!!!
