Nikon 35mm F1.4 Tests with Full Res Samples

I got the call form Allen’s that the brand new Nikon 35mm F1.4 was in stock. So I rushed over to unbox, sniff and do some test shots with it.

This is another very interesting lens. If you are into primes it is going to be a must buy but if you do not own something like a 24-70 2.8 yet I would suggest getting the zoom first. This 35 is more of a specialty lens just like the Nikon 24mm F1.4. What I mean by that is the lens is limited by what it is you shoot.
