Photo Challenge | Shoot A Concert With A 14 Year Old Nikon D70
I wanted to challenge myself to go out and shoot with a super old Nikon DSLR, the D70. 14 years ago this camera was one of the first consumer facing Nikon DSLR’s meant for the general public. It wasn’t super expensive but it wasn’t cheap at around $1200 and more if you added the kit lens.
This concert was more so at a bar then a full on venue which meant really bad lighting. The camera tops out at 1600 ISO which means, faster glass was needed. I used the Nikon 35 F1.8 DX and 50 1.4 AF-D.
Did I do a great job, not exactly in my book. Did I get mostly proper exposures and some keeper images, I think so.
