Photo of the Week - The Grand Ballroom

Back in 2007 I was hired to capture images at the Manhattan Center which is connected to the New Yorker Hotel in NYC. My job was to photograph all the event spaces as well as recording studios.

In this weeks Photo of the WEEK I will walk you through photographing the Grand Ballroom which is said to be one of the most acoustically sound rooms in all of NYC.

The challenge that I faced was that the client was considering not hiring a lighting guy to come in and transform the rooms from a boring normally lit room to what you see below. As you can tell the lighting is what made this photo.
