RANT: Stop and think about it, aren't "Digital Cameras" just freaking amazing!!!

This is a simple video. Stephen was setting up the camera in my office and something triggered in my brain. All I could think about was how freaking amazing it was that this camera can gather light via a lens shown onto a sensor and that sensor turns the light into 1’s and 0’s and then the on board computers convert it to an actual image on the LCD.

We take so much of this stuff for granted today. But think about it for a minute. Isn’t technology just awesome. Image what would happen if someone like Ansel Adams saw what we have today. Think about the forefathers of photography, I think they would be amazed at how far we have come.
