Unboxing the $4,000 55mm F1.4 Zeiss Otus (Postman Fro)

I had the opportunity to get my hands on the Zeis Otus 55mm F1.4 not to long ago from AllensCamera.com. As some of you know I have already done a comparison review of the Outus vs Sigma 50mm F1.4 and you can find the results right here.

What would you expect when unboxing a $4,000 lens? Amazing packaging, quality sniff test or simply a lighter wallet. Like I said during my review, I personally can not see spending that much money on such a specialized lens.

But as is my goal with everything I post on the site, it is up to you to determine based off the information I present whether or not these items are right for you.
