At a recent wedding Greg and I both used our BlackRapid Straps. I used the RS-7 and Greg used the RS DR-1 Double Strap allowing him to capture images that he would not have been able to in the past.

You look like Lee Curreri in that first pic
back in his Fame days
I’m so stinkin’ jealous!
I just received my RS7 earlier this week. Very nice. Very comfortable. Very handy. Very slick. I ordered my direct from Black Rapid as Amazon did not have the R-3 connector (the site only mentioned the R-2). The only tough thing about this transition was taking off the old Nikon strap!
I have a little afraid of sticking my camera with only one screw: is there a security lock? (something prevent unscrewing). Did you feel confident with a 70-200 f/2.8 attached?
Is Greg scaring the bride?
I thought the best angle was eye level or looking up?
I’ve been using the RS7 for few weeks now, and it’s way better than the standard neck strap! Very comfortable, less back/neck strain.
Common! You do not need straps, most of photo profeesionals even do not have a strap on a camera.
@alexander there are times when you are shooting where the straps come in very very handy other times I do not use a strap like in the studio.
That’s an excellent shot of Jared in the church or synagogue. Great job, Greg!!!
