ThinkTank StreetWalker Hard Drive

Jared Polin April 6, 2011 8

Walt Lafty from the band SINAI recently purchased his ThinkTank StreetWalker Hard Drive from Allen’s Camera to take with him to SXSW. As you will see in this video Walt used the bag not just for camera gear but also items to record music with.

When you are a touring musicians you want to be able to have as few bags as possible to carry with you. This backpack replaces three bags by allowing you to carry your laptop, camera and other items you may want with you like microphones, cables, headphones and other accessories.

Check out the video below to see what Walt thinks of this bag. If you are interested in picking up anything ThinkTank please use the link to the right or call Allen’s at 215.547.2841

Bought this bag back in December and I absolutely love it, I was amazed how much I could fit in it

I have this bag and absolutely love it… I have taken it to anything from local photo sessions and as far as to Africa and it was amazing for either. Great room, great protection and great size as it fits in planes which many bags actually don’t(737 or even had it on a 17 passenger puddle-jumper prop plane).

prop plane does not sound fun.

even though the prop plane was a little sketchy, it took me to see a couple children we sponsor in Kenya so it was worth it!

cool jeep ;) nice bag pack.
One of the most experience teachers I had in college use to say that he as a photographer was addicted to new top of the line equipment(pro gear) BUT HE ALWAYS carry a disposable one with him (this was back in 2000, when we all used film) because you learned with time that is comfortable to carry whereever you are and you won´t miss that Pulitzer price shot. He is a photo journalist. the same thing applies to point and shots this days. So never unappreciated a good one, the do fine when needed and remember that a good photographer will always get amazing photos no mater what he carrys as his equipment.

I got the impression from Jared that he is not opposed to carrying point-and-shoots and other smaller cameras because of their lack of quality in comparison to professional DSLRs. He is opposed to carrying them because he is a photographer by trade and does not want to take pictures while he is on his time off away from his work.
