I got a call from Allen that the T3i had come in. There is really not to much to say about the camera other than it has upgraded a few features and kept the price the same as what the T2i is. That is a great thing that the camera is the same price for the new people who are going to purchase it.

If you own a T2i or 60D I would not run out and upgrade or downgrade to this camera. Stick with what you have and you will be happy.

If you would like to purchase a T3i or any other Canon product please call Allen’s at 215.547.2841 and ask for the FRO PRICE. Or you could check out this camera on AMAZON.

Check out the video below as FroVader decided to stop in as well.

for people who likes to shoot Videos please Buy a Video Camera, DSLR are For Photos. I a canon 500D and i am going to buy a new camera but because of that Horrible LCD i prefer to buy the 7D.

The T1i and 7D have the same LCD (3.0″ @ 920,000 pixel). The optical viewfinder is where there are substantially different (mirror vs. prism, 0.54x vs. 0.63x).

You have no idea what You’re talking about. My friend works for a professional video company, they do almost everything, weddings, concerts, music videos, all kind of stuff. And after buying a Canon 5DmkII last summer they are currently planning to convert to DSLR’s only, because it gives them more options with trying weird angles, same quality detail-wise, and better colors. And all that comes CHEAPER than a pro video camera. So please, refrain from making posts about things You have no idea about in the future.

Wireless flash! That is a big deal to me. :)

You didn’t mention the crop video feature, which is a big change for the video. ninofilm.net mentioned this feature in the preview for it.

I bought the 60D because I don’t like taking videos! But at times I feel the need to record a couple minutes of something, 60D works perfect! I’ll bet you a “I Shoot Raw” t-shirt, that Nikon will have a flip screen, sooner than later.

I has the wireless flash control as well, but I doubt most people buying a consumer dslr will get into off-camera flashes.

@DAN1987 Some parts of the film Black Swan were shot using a DSLR camera. If I want a video mode in my DSLR, I think it’s my right, right?

Yo Jared… I think you mentioned in the video that 60D has a magnesium body or something? I just read online that it hasn’t, which DPreview also mentions: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canoneos60D/

Hi Jared! I just bougt a new D7000 and i am still waiting on a test video, like when you shoot icehockey with the D7000 or something like that… a test day with the camera (and we get to follow you on that day).

The wireless flash control means that this is a really great start up camera because it will allow you to dabble with better flash work without needing to upgrade & it works great for a cheap backup camera.

You didn’t mention the crop video feature, which is a big change for the video. I posted this before but it was deleted?

Thanks Jared. You just reinforced my decision to go with the 60D when it’s time.

Wow, how many times can repeat yourself? I like some of your videos, but next time, take a minute to review details instead of sounding off with repeats. We all get excited about new products, but going in blindly makes you look like you have no idea what your talking about. Hence the repeats…smh

Not interested in the camera.. but the articulated screen in the camera (or any brand for that matter) makes me shudder
I am waiting for the day when I see someone rotate a screen and it snaps off! That will cement my thought that the articulated screen dosent belong on a camera.. leave the screen in a camcorder!

Jared, you definitely need a black “I Shoot Raw” shirt for Fro Vader! You brief on the right of the screen and he can brief the left. Dark side through and through…. just a thought, it would be awesome!

Yogi & BooBoo are innocent. I think we’re looking at this all wrong. He didn’t come to our house to steal picnic baskets. We came to his house visiting with gift baskets. He didn’t wrestle anything away from anyone. He believes the baskets were in exchange for picnicing on his property! LOL!!
