Friday Flickr Photo Critique #029

This week’s photo set comes to us from Clayton Ulmer who shot some killer photos of his friends while they were making a music video. What drew me to Clayton’s photo set was the consistent look and feel of his images while telling the story of the day’s events.

Clayton did a great job getting close to the action, yet keeping the photos candid and natural. He did a fair mix of portraits, action and detail shots that all help to build the photo story.

I also really liked Clayton’s editing style. Nice contrast with a bit of muted tones, vignetting all complimenting the shallow depth of field he chose for most shots.

So great job Clayton and keep up the good work!
